On a visit to York Art Gallery recently, I saw an exhibition called The Honest Pot. I thought it would fit well for the colour brown this month. The background is a piece of space-dyed velvet onto which I appliqued the shapes of the pots. The pots are calico, coloured with Inktense pencils.
